== Episodes == ===Season one (BFDI)=== The first season of BFDI, under the same name as the series, premiered on January 1, 2010 and ran on YouTube until January 2, 2012 with the season finale "Return of the Hang Glider". The season only had 25 episodes with 21 contestants with Firey being the winner of Dream Island. There were over 3 eliminated characters who rejoined (Blocky, Spongy and Flower) and only one debuter joined (David). It was primarily hosted by the Announcer, but after his initial destruction, he was replaced by Firey Speaker Box and Flower Speaker Box, before the main host returning. Up until the merge, the season was dominated by two (later three) teams, Squishy Cherries and Squashy Grapes. Later, a new team was formed, named, by accident, Another Name. {| class="bgrevo" style="border-collapse:collapse; text-align:center; font-size:100%;" border="1" width="100%" {| |- style="background:#027F03;" ! width="9%" style="color: black" |No. in series ! width="9%" style="color: black" |No. in season ! width="30%" style="color: black" |Title ! width="10%" style="color: black" |Eliminated/Rejoined/Lost ! width="10%" style="color: black" |Votes ! width="12%" style="color: black" |Air date |- |1 |1 |"Take the Plunge" | colspan="2" |N/A |Jan 1, 2010 |- |2 |2 |"Barriers and Pitfalls" |Flower |7 |Feb 1, 2010 |- |3 |3 | "Are You Smarter Than a Snowball?" |Spongy | 12 |Mar 1, 2010 |- |4 |4 |"Sweet Tooth" |Blocky |12 |Apr 1, 2010 |- | 5 |5 |"Bridge Crossing" |Woody |14 |May 1, 2010 |- |6 |6 |"Power of Three" |Pin |13 |June 1, 2010 |- |7 |7 |"Puzzling Mysteries" |Needle |18 |July 1, 2010 |- |8 |8 |"Cycle of Life" | colspan="2" | N/A |Aug 1, 2010 |- |9 |9 | "Insectophobe's Nightmare" |Blocky (rejoins) |28 |Sep 1, 2010 |- |10 |10 |"Crybaby!" | Teardrop |29 |Oct 1, 2010 |- |11 |11 |"Lofty" |Golf Ball |37 |Nov 1, 2010 |- |12 |12 |"A Leg Up in the Race" |Coiny |61 |Dec 1, 2010 |- |13 |13 | "Don't Lose Your Marbles" |Snowball |80 |Jan 1, 2011 |- | 14 |14 |"Half a Loaf Is Better Than None" |Match<br>Spongy (rejoins) |158 |Feb 1, 2011 |- | 15 |15 |"Vomitaco" |Eraser |220 |Mar 1, 2011 |- |16 |16 |"Bowling, Now with Explosions!" |Pen |259 |Apr 1, 2011 |- | 17 | 17 |"The Reveal" |Blocky |288 |May 1, 2011 |- |18 |18 |"Reveal Novum" |Tennis Ball<br>David (debuts) |450 |June 1, 2011 |- |19 |19 |"Rescission" |Pencil |464 | July 1, 2011 |- |20 |20 |"Gardening Hero" |David |545 |Aug 1, 2011 |- |21 |21 |"The Glistening" |Ice Cube<br>Flower (rejoins) |856 |Sep 1, 2011 |- |22 |22 |"Don't Pierce My Flesh" |Rocky |844 |Oct 1, 2011 |- |23 |23 |"Hurtful!" |Spongy |816 |Nov 1, 2011 |- |24 |24 |"Insectophobe's Nightmare 2 |Flower |735 |Dec 1, 2011 |- |25 |25 |"Return of the Hang Glider" |Bubble (3rd)<br>Leafy (2nd) |870 |Jan 1, 2012 |} ===Season two (BFDIA)=== Battle for Dream Island Again The second season of BFDI, titled Battle for Dream Island Again and abbreviated as BFDIA, began its run on June 29, 2012 and it features 22 contestants (12 returning ones and 10 newcomers). Unlike last season, where there were only 3 hosts (the Announcer, Firey Speaker Box and Flower Speaker Box), there were 5 hosts (TV, Puffball Speaker Box, Firey Speaker Box, Flower and bugs), though the Announcer has been canonically running the season. The prize of course is [[Dream Island (BFDIA)|W.O.A.H. The entire episode is about the contestants traversing to get to the top of the summit of Yoyle Mountain. The season would return on September 1, 2023 with the official release of "Well Rested". As of January 1, 2025, it currently has over 17 episodes (21 if counting the parts of BFDIA 5 as episodes). {| class="bgrevo" style="border-collapse:collapse; text-align:center; font-size:100%;" border="1" width="100%" {| |- style="background:#FB9900;" ! width="9%" style="color: black" |No. in series ! width="9%" style="color: black" |No. in season ! width="30%" style="color: black" |Title ! width="10%" style="color: black" |Eliminated ! width="10%" style="color: black" |Votes ! width="12%" style="color: black" |Air date |- |26 |1 |"[[Yeah, Who? Either it will return after the end of BFDIA or BFDI:TPOT as it was never announced if it was canceled. The contestants are the same as the amount after the premiere of the episode "Well Rested" and it was confirmed that there will be no host, meaning it will be non-competitional, but it will still have competitional aspects like viewer voting. This is also the first season of the series to air with the hand-drawn animation style, simplified and more loosely. The first half of the season followed 64 contestants (half being newcomers) battling for A BFDI, hosted by Four and X, which later was revealed to be the full archive of the first two seasons of the series. The first half also took place in North Goiky. The elimination style kept the same as object shows before this one. With the split from the episode "The Escape from Four" (released in 2020), where a fifth season, Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two, aired simultaneously, the second half became Battle for BFB, where 14 of the remaining contestants battled for both A BFB and A BFDI. The season took place in the Pillary Ruins and the Desert due to issues with fans. The elimination style kept for the fans to vote for saving the contestants to get away from being eliminated. The overall winner of the season was Flower, who was also the first eliminated character in the series, with the season finale "Chapter Complete". {| class="bgrevo" style="border-collapse:collapse; text-align:center; font-size:100%;" border="1" width="100%" {| |- style="background:#337CCF;" ! width="9%" style="color: black" |No. in series ! width="9%" style="color: black" |No. in season ! width="30%" style="color: black" |Title ! width="10%" style="color: black" |Eliminated/Rejoined ! width="10%" style="color: black" |Votes ! width="12%" style="color: black" |Air date |- |43 / 32 |1 |"Getting Teardrop to Talk" | colspan="2" |N/A |Nov 3, 2017 |- |44 / 33 |2 |"Lick Your Way to Freedom" |Pencil |9,973 |Nov 17, 2017 |- |45 / 34 |3 |"Why Would You Do This on a Swingset" |Leafy |19,843 |Dec 8, 2017 |- |46 / 35 |4 |"Today's Very Special Episode" |Bracelety |20,255 |Dec 22, 2017 |- |47 / 36 |5 |"Fortunate Ben" |Liy |20,389 |Jan 12, 2018 |- |48 / 37 |6 |"Four Goes Too Far" |Roboty |21,916 |Feb 2, 2018 |- |49 / 38 |7 |"The Liar Ball You Don't Want" |Loser |23,119 |Feb 16, 2018 |- |50 / 39 |8 |"Questions Answered" |8-Ball |22,238 |Mar 10, 2018 |- |51 / 40 |9 |"This Episode Is About Basketball" |Stapy |22,340 |Apr 6, 2018 |- |52 / 41 |10 |"Enter the Exit" |David |23,516 |Apr 28, 2018 |- |53 / 42 |11 |"Get to the Top in 500 Steps" |Leafy (rejoins) |32,543 |May 27, 2018 |- |54 / 43 |12 |"What Do You Think of Roleplay?" |Match |30,685 |Jul 10, 2018 |- |55 / 44 |13 |"Return of the Rocket Ship" |Firey Jr. |24,187 |Jul 11, 2019 |- |56 / 45 |14 |"Don't Dig Straight Down" |Black Hole (audience's favorite character; most voted) |34,636 |Aug 24, 2019 |- |57 / 46 |15 |"The Four is Lava" |Dora |29,988 |Dec 14, 2019 |- |58 / 47 |16 |"The Escape from Four" |Spongy |39,850 |Mar 24, 2020 |- |59 / 48 |17 |"X Marks the Spot" | colspan="2" |N/A |Apr 17, 2020 |- |60 / 49 |18 |"Take the Tower" |Balloony |51,310 |May 4, 2020 |- |61 / 50 |19 |"How Loe Can You Grow?" |Spongy |50,477 |May 22, 2020 |- |62 / 51 |20 |"A Taste of Space" |Ruby |52,418 |Jun 10, 2020 |- |63 / 52 |21 |"Let's Raid The Warehouse" |Loser |51,914 |Jul 3, 2020 |- |64 / 53 |22 |"Who Stole Donut's Diary" |Taco |56,990 |Jul 24, 2020 |- |65 / 54 |23 |"Fashion For Your Face!" |Bubble |59,779 |Aug 21, 2020 |- |66 / 55 |24 |"The Game Has Changed" |Blocky |57,729 |Sep 18, 2020 |- |67 / 56 |25 |"The Tweested Temple" |Firey |51,983 |Oct 13, 2020 |- |68 / 57 |26 |"The Hidden Contestant" |Woody and Profily |46,108 |Nov 6, 2020 |- |69 / 58 |27 |"Uprooting Everything" |Lollipop |42,595 |Dec 11, 2020 |- |70 / 59 |28 |"B.F.B. = Back From Beginning" |Leafy |45,868 |Jan 15, 2021 |- |71 / 60 |29 |"SOS (Save Our Show)" |Teardrop |71,828 |Feb 12, 2021 |- |72 / 61 |30 |"Chapter Complete" |Gelatin (2nd place) |77,131 |Apr 9, 2021 |} ===Season five (BFDI:TPOT)=== The fifth season of Battle for Dream Island, titled Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two or abbreviated as TPOT, is the most recent of the five. During the time of IDFB, the release schedule had an announced date. The post-revival BFDIA has a schedule of one to two months from the first or second day of the month in some locations. Since Battle for BFB, the schedule for most of the recent seasons has been unscheduled, mostly revealed through teasers or (formerly) other kinds of videos like shorts or music videos.
