==Legacy== Battle for Dream Island<nowiki/>'s premiere is generally considered to be the earliest or first object show in existence, marking the beginning of the Object Show Community, a fandom in the Internet that traces its origin back to the show itself in 2010. Although some consider Move Your Feet! by rtil from 2008 being the first object-related video to exist, BFDI is the official first object show to exist with competition and contests with teams and contestants with a host. Battle for Dream Island is also, thanks to popular belief, the first viewer voting and competition-based object show in history. However, after the series' initial cancelation, the OSC grew. ===Assets=== The show became open-source on July 24, 2012 when all of its assets were released to the public, including faces, character assets and bodies, limbs, backgrounds, items, accessories, and everything else. Outside from the main assets in the website page includes episode .flas, grass used in the BFDIA intro, the chase scene in "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", old assets from 2008 known as "oldies", Firey's Candy Bar Adventure and it's source project. These assets were used in most of the old Adobe Animate object shows before BFB was released, like most of the assets were used in Object Overload<nowiki/>'s first reboot from 2015. The Mouth asset originated from this web show, and then it became the infamous "clip-art mouth asset" where it appears in literally everywhere as a "clipart cartoon mouth" seen in most clickbait or random moments of YouTube videos. As a parody for the mouth, a short was made named "Why is the BFDI Mouth Everywhere?" where the plot follows Golf Ball's creation going hazard named Mouth eating everyone after having some "adventures". The asset was even adapted into a contestant in Mysterious Object Super Show, named BFDI Mouth. ==="Beefy die"=== A meme arose under the abbreviation spelling by Fun BFDI Facts, named "Beefy die". It has been caused by the spelling of TikTok voices used in the channel.
