ONE, also known as HFJONE, is an American competitional and non-competitional plot drama horror (sometimes) joke object show created by Cheesy Hfj, released between 2020 and 2022. The series had a spinoff named ONE: Investigations which was released throughout early to mid 2024.
The first season follows 18 contestants (introduced in 3 batches of 6) battling for a wish for whatever they want, hosted by "Airy", taking place at the Plane. The second season follows Liam Plecak (one of the contestants) with Bryce Hansen investigating the events and how this happened, thanks to the period of 7 months this happened in universe.
Acronym[edit | edit source]
ONE's acronym has never been deciphered as the meaning was going to be revealed in "Freefall" before Airy was interrupted.[1] There have been many attempted meanings as to what the object show's title means, with one including "Objects Never Escape". Cheesy Hfj said that "ONE" doesn't stand for anything.[2]
Development and production[edit | edit source]
ONE's predecessor, Battle for Circle which is a joke show, can trace the origins of the object show, thanks to Circle with a Mole disappearing off screen in episode 11.
The show most likely began early-to-mid summer of 2019 depending on the community posts made by Cheesy Hfj. A teaser trailer was uploaded on January 12, 2020.

YouTuber T3rr0r sees ONE as a subversion of object shows with Airy acting as both the host and creator of the object show itself, as the web series more focuses on the objects than the show itself (unlike most object shows). He also pointed out to the ending of "Self-Titled" as the cancelation of the object show, leading to an unsatisfied ending, just like Battle for Dream Island Again was canceled in 2014 until the series' revival under the episode "Well Rested".

Makeship had made a ONE plushie of Liam and was released on February 1, 2024. A unique thing about this plushie unlike most of the other plushies, is that it is the first to have a storage container through the zipper like most backpacks. Sales ended by March 1, 2024.
