Beyond Bounds, often abbreviated as Beyond, is an upcoming non-competitional plot object show created by BlueFlower.

It will follow the story of human Tria Lactilia from the planet of Lacta being transported into the object-populated world of Térélén and with her friends, an ancient prophecy will interfere with her new-calm life.

Development and production[edit | edit source]

Back when BlueFlower was starting out in the OSC, she was a part of the now-canceled The Object Project, inspired by another object show named Open Source Objects. This ended up being canceled. There was a Discord server to operate the production and from the creator's memory, a user who was a top member mentioned the idea of a human living among living objects. This concept stuck in her mind.

Before the human concept, the project was called SHOW and the earliest X posts came from January 7, 2021, though the account was registered on July 20, 2020.[1] Since the beginning of SHOW, the show needed auditions for a crew, including animators and voice actors.[2] The show was originally going to be competitional, just like every popular object show, but ended up going to development hell between February 2021 to August 2022.[3] The last known post about SHOW was on July 20, 2021, celebrating it's 1st Twitter account anniversary.[4]

Setting and premise[edit | edit source]

While the main character, Tria Lactilia, came from the planet and country Lacta, the series is mostly set on the small planet of Térélén, a medieval or modern landscape populated by living objects. Tria might introduce modern things to this medieval world too.[5] With the Térégén siblings, Milà and Dērem and her Lactan friend Emisé Lactahart, she will meet friend and foe alike, accompanying her adventures, but a secret ancient prophecy will be her main problem.
