Steve Cobs was an object businessman and inventor. He was the founder and sole CEO of Meeple Inc. and its more famous for the MePhone products with its living forms, most famously MePhone4 and his final creation MePhoneX.

Cobs initially created the first three MePhones and started the Meeple invasion of the Shimmer Planet, resulting in catastrophic failure. When creating MePhone4, he inserted the energy of one of the young Light Shimmers as a core to generate anything, just to return even more powerful. Most likely, he kept watching 4 and MePad as he planned more creations to exterminate him, like MePhone4S.

Development[edit | edit source]

Inspiration[edit | edit source]

Steve Cobs, obviously by his name, was inspired by the American businessman and inventor Steve Jobs, the founder and chairman of Apple Inc. (who also inspired Meeple Inc.) and the inventor of the iPhone (which would result in the MePhone). The surname Cobs is also a name given to the Corncob, the inner part of a corn.

Inanimate Insanity[edit | edit source]

Background[edit | edit source]

Nothing is known about Cobs' origins, except for creating his first computer in his parents' house garage and most likely they didn't treat him well after "ripping it out".[1]

After creating the Mecintosh and the MeBook (likely early creations), he invented MePhone (including MePhone1, 3G and 3GS). Around their success, he also sent out them for the Shimmer Planet to visit and discover the Light Shimmers. This visit turned into an invasion, which costed half of the planet, MePhone1 and 3G. Only 3GS was able to survive and took a single Egg Shimmer. It's unclear if the invasion was intentional, but Cobs likely tortured 3GS in the aftermath and inserted that Egg, nicknaming it the "MeCore", to his "greatest creation", MePhone4.[3]

Steve Cobs was a pretty abusive father figure to MePhone4 as evident by the day he was first activated. Even screaming at him when 4 made a small version of his spaceship, disliking competition shows, and (likely to spy on him) inventing A.D.A.M.. Cobs, had already invented MePad by the time MePhone4 left.[2]

Inanimate Insanity[edit | edit source]

It is implied that Steve Cobs might existed during season one.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Personality[edit | edit source]

Weaknesses[edit | edit source]

Because he is a mortal object, Cobs is vulnerable to injuries and can take kernels from him. He is also weak enough to avoid explosions.

Deaths[edit | edit source]

  1. "Objects in Mirror": Permanently killed in an explosion through Suitcase's False MeCore.
