Huang twins
The Huang twins, abbreviated as htwins, are a Chinese-American twin brother duo who are the creators of Battle for Dream Island and, as a result, one of the founding figures of the Object Show Community. The twins' were born on 18 March 1997 at California, United States to parents of Chinese descent. Together they not only created BFDI, but also X Finds Out His Value and The Scale of the Universe. Most of their projects together are on the website htwins.net.
Etymology
The surname Huang comes from the Mandarin form (黄) of the Chinese term referring to the word "yellow", a word commonly associated with ancient Chinese history and for the case of the OSC, the objectsonas of both Michael and Cary as the stick figures face are filled in yellow.[1] The name Huang is also referred to as the ancient Huang state (located in present day Huangchen in the Henan province) which was annexed by the state of Chu during the "Spring and Autumn period". While the name Huang mostly appears in mainland China and Taiwan, it is alleged that it also appears in Japan.
