Production setup[edit | edit source]

Since 2017, Michael uses a Wacom Cintiq 16 Pro (2016) for drawing, before that he used what appears to be a Graphire 3 which he used from 2007 until 2017 when he upgraded.

The reason why he jumped from a low-end pad-tablet from 2003 to a higher-end display tablet from 2016 instead opting for a mid-range pad-tablet is currently unknown but he could've upgraded for 2 main reasons, by becoming more experienced with Flash animation and using an iMac Pro from the year with an which made his Graphire 3 incompatible with newer versions of macOS since the last driver released for his Graphire 3 was released in 2012 for macOS, and Mac OS is notorious for breaking compatibility with old software, which includes Wacom tablet driver 5.2.6-5 (the last supported driver for the Graphire 3). Though he could've downloaded unofficial drivers, he probably didn't want to struggle with using unofficial drivers, especially when he's using an OS that has a smaller user base compared to Windows and breaks compatibility more often than Windows.
