Four is an Integer Algebralian and the usurped host of a Battle for Dream Island season, titled Battle for BFDI/BFB. Since the end of the season, he has been working on the Hotel Kitchen (originally with Clock and Gaty), being a frenemy of Two, the host of TPOT, and best friends with X.
Creation and development[edit | edit source]
Four was created in the last week of 2008 for a school project to explain Algebra in a simple way, in a pre-Algebra class. The first appearance of Four was in X Finds Out His Value, uploaded on December 31, 2008 on the jacknjellify channel. The character, like most before BFDI, was created by Cary Huang as he wrote and animated the project at the simple age of 11. The voice for Four was pitched -4, unlike nowadays which is pitched -3.[2] Sadly, the original voice files for the project is now lost.[3]
History[edit | edit source]
Pre-BFDI[edit | edit source]
It's unknown how Four changed his personality for 9 years (a pretty long time). Back in 2008, Four was walking around the Equation Playground before witnessing X, their best friend, bored because they didn't know what their value was. They went to the playground and deciphered what X's value, being Seven, through the power of Algebra.[4]
Battle for Dream Island[edit | edit source]
Canonical background[edit | edit source]

At some point, years between 2010 to 2016, Four was a big fan of Battle for Dream Island. When watching an episode with X interrupting it, Four predicted the fact that they were gonna be famous, being on that show. Once BFDIA was finished, Four began compiling all episodes around the time into A BFDI.[5]
