Firey is a Goikian contestant of Battle for Dream Island and the winner of its first season.

Creation and development

Firey was created to be the central main character (and sometimes titular) of the Pre-BFDI comics from 2008 to 2009. His first appearance in "FIREY to keep our customers happy" shows that as he is the first character to appear on the paper.

General information

Appearance

Firey has the colors of mainling orange peel as it is the outer layer. In his inner layer, it is mostly tangerine yellow and his outline is dark goldenrod. Like most objects, his limbs and face are black.

Weaknesses

Of his weaknesses, he is a literal fire, meaning that he could be extinguished through water, making him unable to cry or having temporal sweat.

Firey appears to also have acrophobia, the fear of heights, which means that he could literally scream and high altitude or long gaps.

Firey Speaker Box

Firey created and owned the Firey Speaker Box and he was the one who prefered the most than the Flower Speaker Box. He also was the one who allowed it to be the host of the second season. Firey was helped by him in one occasion and when he was eliminated, the speaker box cried.

He was saddended to Donut destroying it.

“	Firey loves to win. He also likes to be complimented, but he's hard to pin down. He doesn't fit neatly into any one category. Some categories he's part of include: deathly afraid of heights, deathly afraid of crying, unable to swim, and won Dream Island. Firey and Coiny are rivals. Firey is a fast runner, but Coiny isn't. Firey can cook without an oven, but Coiny can't. Firey's immune to poison, but Coiny isn't. Firey loves chocolate. Wonder what Coiny thinks of chocolate... Did You Know?: Firey is the lightest of all BFDI characters, only being weighed down by his limbs.	”

Depictions in fan media

He is potrayed as the titular enemy in One Night at Firey's. He will start at CAM 1 and he will then progress to CAM 3. He enters the vents through CAM 7 and can be avoided through pressing the yellow button near the vent which scares him through the flash. Failing to do so will result in a jumpscare.

Firey appears as one of the playable characters in BFDI: Branches, nicknamed "The Good Runner" as the fastest of the team. He has no ability when pressing W.
